My sweet Kids

Joseph and other students ready to do their demo at half time at our college basketball game on Feb. 18th.
Rebekah playing with someone's headgear while Joseph is practicing Karate.
Rebekah sitting with part of her ballet class.
This is called beret but I am not sure of the spelling. It is the tiptoe walk where one foot stays behind.
Rebekah's teacher always have them finish in first position any exercise they do.

The rest of the demo was the same as before- with the kata and all. Exept that he did his numchucks alone since the other boy couldn't make it. But his Sensei added this free sparring with several pairs of students. It was really great. Joseph is the one in the black helmet. He really loves sparring, as you can tell.
Today my youngest sister drove to my house herself. She just got her license. She was trying to tell Joseph about it. "Guess what? I drove here myself. Isn't that cool?" Joseph says, "Are you married?" HAHAHAHA I guess that is a new rule in America, you can't drive until you are married. HAHAHA On her birthday (this month) he called her to wish her a happy birthday. The part I heard was Joseph saying, "Hi... Is this Angel?... Happy Birthday.... Do you want me to sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas?"

They were practicing her dance as well for the recital but I don't want to spoil the surprise so I am not going to put it up until they do it at the recital. Rebekah's class actually was getting really large and then they split it. Instead of ages 3-6 she is now in ages 3-4 and there is another class ages 5-6. I love it that they don't like the classes to get too big. Plus, when Rebekah does get to the older class it will be a kind of sooner promotion (into the pink hairbows). :)

That's neat that they separate the 2 age groups of little ballerinas by the color of their hair bows! How fun it will be when she gets a pink bow!

Pretty cool that Joseph got to do the half time show at a college b-ball game!

Hmmm...maybe I should tell my just turned 16 year old that she has to wait to get her license till she's married. LOL! Great story, Wendy!

Rebekah has a wonderful laugh in this movie.
